Croonr on Digital Planet

We're back from SXSW! Actually, we got back Tuesday night, but we spent the last two days in a post-party stupor. Now that we're back to normal (for us, anyway), it's time for a Croonr update!

While at SXSW, we were interviewed for the BBC radio program Digital Planet, which you can listen to here or by downloading the podcast from iTunes. It's definitely worth a listen, because it contains the karaoke battle of the century between host Gareth Mitchell and the lovely Cynthia Lux, conducted, of course, over the internet using Croonr.

And let's not forget the reason we were at SXSW in the first place, Accelerator. We had a chance to meet some of the finalists in the music category, for which we were the runners-up, and they were all great guys. Congratulations to all on their excellent products and especially to Popcuts for taking home the award.

OK, so our web site isn't the most exciting thing you've ever seen, and it doesn't even say what we do, but that's not because we're inept. We're just terribly secretive.

But some secrets are just too good to keep, and we're going to spill the beans next month at SXSW in Austin. That's because we've been named honorable mention in the music category in the Microsoft BizSpark Accelerator program! It is an honor to be featured alongside such other great companies, and although we won't actually get to share the stage with those that made the finals, we will be there in Austin and would love to show Croonr to you. It's something that must be seen to be believed.
